Our Town Saratoga, treated this year’s winning mom to a an appointment with Master Stylist, Glenn Guerriero, owner of Brooklyn Attitude in Saratoga Springs. Guerriero graduated from the EOC’s Cosmetology program in 2002. His thriving business has earned national attention for its innovative styling techniques, community outreach and New York City themed decor, including subway beams and a mural of the Statue of Liberty.
Following a hairstyling appointment that included coloring and highlights, Gerber received a personalized make-up consultation from current EOC student Ashley Mishook. Mishook will graduate from the EOC’s Cosmetology program on June 30, 2011. Mishook earned top honors during the 2011 EOC Student Hairstyling Competition. She also represented the EOC by providing individual make-up consultations as part of a greater EOC display held in conjunction with the New York State Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislator’s, Inc. Annual Conference Weekend.
