The Center for Access and Assistive Technology has rescheduled its workshop for Epilepsy 101 on Friday, Nov. 8 from 11 am – 12 pm in room 150 of the Siek Campus Center.
This training will be provided by the Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York and a certificate of completion will be given for attending.
Epilepsy 101 will provide education on these topics:
- The basics of epilepsy and seizures
- Recognizing different types of seizures
- Assisting a person during a seizure (first aid)
- Identifying seizure emergencies
