Call of Duty: Cold War: The Vikings did not compete with a bye week. The team did not qualify for postseason.
Rocket League: The Vikings have two teams competing this semester in the Rocket League events.
—Rocket League (Team One): Lost by forfeit last week to Northwest Trappers. The team did not qualify for postseason.
—Rocket League (Team Green): Lost 3-0 to Utah State University. The team did not qualify for postseason.
Wednesday
Super Smash Bros: This is the most popular game among the Vikings eSports program. We have eight individuals competing weekly for a chance to clinch a playoff berth following the eight-week season. None of the Super Smash competitors qualified for postseason.
–Tylar M.: Lost by forfeit to Howard CC.
–Christian M.: Won by forfeit to Johnston Community College.
–Matthew P.: Won by forfeit over North Central Michigan.
–Shane T.: Lost by forfeit to Bryant & Stratton (WI)
–William M.: Won 3-1 over Iowa Central.
Hearthstone: We have two students participating in Hearthstone this semester, including Ligori K., who finished the spring 2021 semester as the nation’s top-ranked Hearthstone player.
–Ligori K.: Ligori WON 3-1 over Pennsylvania Highlands last week and is set to compete in the quarterfinal round vs. Bryant & Stratton this week.
–Tylar M.: Did not compete last week with a bye and did not qualify for postseason play.
Thursday
Overwatch: The Vikings lost 3-0 to Navarro College. The team qualified for the postseason and is set to take on Union County in the first round of the postseason on Dec. 3.
Call of Duty: Gun Fight: There are two teams participating for the Vikings.
—HVCC Team 1: The Vikings team won by forfeit to North Central Michigan last week. The team did not qualify for postseason.
—HVCC Team 2: The team lost by forfeit to Laramie County last week. Team did not qualify for postseason.
Friday
Valorant: The Vikings lost by forfeit to Crowder College. The Valorant team did not qualify for postseason.
