The Dwight Marvin Library seeks faculty input on title selection for the 2023-24 feature film collection provided on the Swank Digital Campus platform. Each year, about 50 titles are selected, with availability from August 1 through July 31. Existing titles are retained or replaced by other requested titles based on feedback from the survey as well as use from this academic year.
It’s essential that faculty who use this collection indicate their preferred titles NOW. Titles cannot be added later in the year without considerable (usually prohibitive) expense.
Please complete this simple online survey indicating which current titles you wish to see retained. Then in the space provided, list new titles that you’d like added. Note that new titles must be available from the vendor; titles produced by streaming services such as Netflix, AppleTV, and others are generally not available from Swank (examples: Netflix’s Crip Camp, Apple’s Tragedy of Macbeth (starring Denzel Washington and Frances McDormand), and Apple’s CODA.
Please complete the survey by Friday, May 5. The library will post the titles for the 2023-24 Swank collection by early June.
