Dr. Sonja Ann (Sam) Miller completed an open educational resource-based textbook for undergraduate Abnormal Psychology courses. The book is available at https://courses.lumenlearning.com/hvcc-abnormalpsychology/ and may be used by faculty around the world.
Dr. Miller and colleagues will pilot the book in selected sections in the Fall 2020 semester with a plan for adoption as the primary text for Spring 2021 sections. When adopted as the primary text, students will benefit from lowered cost of attendance.
Dr. Miller will continue her collaboration with leading OER publisher Lumen Learning. Her contributions to a previously released lifespan development textbook were announced earlier.
