The Faculty Resource Room is open for business as usual.
For anyone new to campus, the Faculty Resource Room is located in BTC 1052 and is for use for quiet work, practicing with technology and software, and working with mentors. If you have a computer classroom key, that will open the door. If you do not have a key, you can come to BTC 1042 and borrow one. Nights and weekends, you may request access to the room through Public Safety.
Just a couple of rules for use of the room: NO STUDENTS are allowed in the room for any reason whatsoever and the door must remain locked even when you are in the room.
Faculty mentors are available to help with questions about technology, software, pedagogy, and so on. The Mentor schedule (below) appears on the Faculty Mentor page on the College website.
If you would like to meet with a mentor during regularly scheduled times, please just drop by. If none of these times works for you, our “mentor on the move” is Mary Beth Farr. If you have any questions for us, please e-mail mentors@hvcc.edu.
