Registration is now open for Faculty Workshop Day!
Faculty Workshop Day is scheduled for Wednesday, March 1st. The theme for this year is “Navigating New Frontiers: Positive Approaches to Educational Theory and Practice.” We’re excited to offer a diverse program including our own faculty, staff, and administrators. The keynote speaker (see below) will also be livestreamed; most workshops will be held in person, with select workshops via Zoom. Along with our keynote and workshops, we’ll have door prizes, light breakfast options, salads for lunch, and book vendors. The registration deadline is 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 27. Keynote Speaker: Dr. Richardson-Melecio is the President/CEO of Equity Dynamics, LLC. She brings more than 25 years of experience as a diversity, equity, and inclusion (D.E.I.) expert and delivers quality consultation and training services to communities and organizations. A doctoral-level researcher and a Licensed Masters Social Worker, she has recently authored her first book, “Belonging: Shifting Your D.E.I. Narrative,” which seeks to help organizational leaders be proactive in their D.E.I. journey.
