Blackboard faculty,
Courses are retained in Blackboard for a period of one year and 30 days from the beginning of the semester the course was scheduled to be taught. The Blackboard course and user purge will take place on Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014. Courses older than 395 days and users who have been inactive for 395 days will be permanently removed from the Blackboard System. This will include Fall and Summer 2013 courses.
Most faculty are continually exporting courses from previous semesters and importing them into current semesters. However, if the last time you taught a course was in the Fall or Summer of 2013, you will need to export it if you want to keep a copy of it.
