There is a difference between admission to a school and admission into a degree program.
Getting accepted into a school doesn’t guarantee entry into a degree program that may have higher standards, such as certain GPA requirements. Students should make sure they know exactly what they’re transferring into and what the requirements are for the degree program they hope to enter.
