Feedback on Parent/Family Orientations: Was it favorable? You decide!

 

Surveys were collected from 293 attendees at the three Parent/Family Orientations for those with new matriculated students enrolling in fall 2015. Results of their responses on a four-point Likert-type scale (Strongly Agree, Agree, Disagree, Strongly Disagree) were tabulated for those for whom the questions were applicable. The percentage of responses are listed below:

The online registration process for the event was easy to understand.  SA 63%, A 34%, D 2%, SD 1%

The check-in process the day of the event was well organized.  SA 81%, A 15%, D 3%, SD 1%

I’m pleased there were refreshments provided prior to the program.  SA 66%, A 31%, D 2%, SD 1%

After attending this event, I feel more confident in my student’s choice to attend Hudson Valley. SA 73%, A 27%

This event helped me gain a greater understanding of the support services available to my student. SA 82%, A 18%

The 10 key points covered in the first part of the presentation provided me with information that will be useful to me and/or my student. SA 71%, A 27%, D 2%

The venue for this event was comfortable. SA 67%, A 29%, D 3%, SD 1%

The time of this event (a Saturday morning) worked well for me. SA 67%, A 29%, D 3%, SD 1%
