The Colonial Flag Foundation will create a Field of Honor to benefit the Capital District Patriot Flight from May 27 through May 30, 2022. The event will be hosted by the Hoosic Valley Central School District in Schaghticoke. Kathy Kilmer, a Hudson Valley Community College retiree, shared the information for this article.
Community members are invited to support the event by dedicating a flag, making a donation or becoming a sponsor. Each U.S. flag represents an individual and tells a story.
The display of 1,000 flags will be open free to all.
