Rensselaer County Executive Kathleen Jimino announces a special program on Wednesday, March 23 to open a community conversation about heroin addiction and opiate abuse, and urges all to attend.
The event begins at 1 p.m. with a showing of “The Hungry Heart” in the BTC Auditorium. The film documents the tragic impact of prescription opiate abuse and addiction on young people in nearby Vermont, but also demonstrates that recovery is possible.
