We have three buyers for the grass-fed cow and need a fourth to seal the deal. Faculty member Jamey Thompson is facilitating the purchase through his hay man. Total cost for the quarter is approx. $550. I bought a quarter from Jamey last January and still have some in the freezer. It works out to be a good deal, especially considering these cows are all grass-fed, no antibiotics or chemicals.
The beef comes vacuum-packed and cut pretty standard, but there is some flexibility.
