The Troy Downtown Revitalization Initiative’s local planning committee will hold its seventh and final meeting on Wednesday, July 13 at 5 p.m. via Zoom. (See below for Zoom access information.) Time is allocated at the end of the meeting for public comments.
At this final meeting, LPC members will vote on a final slate of DRI projects to recommend for New York State funding as part of the DRI Strategic Investment Plan. For additional information and to review a summary of project proposals, visit www.troydri.com/lpc.
Troy’s DRI local planning committee is co-chaired by Mayor Patrick Madden and HVCC President Roger Ramsammy.
In November 2021, the City of Troy was awarded $10 million from New York State through the Downtown Revitalization Initiative (DRI). The funding will enable Troy to develop a Strategic Investment Plan and realize key catalytic projects that advance its vision for downtown revitalization. Projects selected for DRI funding will transform the downtown and support a vibrant local economy.
The Troy community is encouraged to attend the final Local Planning Committee meeting to view the slate of projects that the LPC will recommend to include in the DRI Strategic Investment Plan and receive funds through the State’s $10M award. The community has had ongoing opportunities to share input on the proposed DRI projects.
