We would like to clarify some confusion surrounding the Declining Balance Plan that is available for food purchases in the cafeterias on campus. Mazzone Hospitality is the on campus food service provide for Hudson Valley. There is a Declining Balance Plan available to students for food purchases that when used saves you the sales tax on each purchase; that’s an automatic 8% savings each time!
Unfortunately financial aid is not applicable for this plan. Once you receive a disbursement of financial aid funds you can add the money to your Declining Balance Plan but financial aid is not directly applied to the plan. To add funds to your account, please see one of the cashiers or visit www.hvcc.edu/foodservice. It will take approximately 24 hours before funds are available for use.
