Fine Arts faculty member in two-person exhibition opening July 8

 

The work of Tara Fracalossi, assistant professor in the Fine Arts department, is part of a two-person exhibition, “Compound Fragments,” opening Friday, July 8 at the Albany Center Gallery.

The exhibition includes recent photographic work by Fracalossi from her ongoing “Archive” series, alongside work by Katherine Chwazik.

An opening reception is scheduled for  5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 15; the exhibition remains on view through Aug. 12. The Albany Center Gallery is located at 39 Columbia St.

“Compound Fragments” runs concurrently with the exhibition “Campsite” at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art at SUNY New Paltz, which features a large scale  installation by Fracalossi and works by Thomas Lail, associate professor in the Fine Arts department.
