Environmental Health and Safety will conduct building inspections this summer prior to the state fire marshal’s inspections in the fall.
If any potential hazards are found, an e-mail will be sent to the occupant(s) and their supervisor listing the violations and possible corrective actions. Misuse of extension cords and power strips usually is the category cited for the most violations.
