As part of the third floor renovation of Fitzgibbons Hall, asbestos abatement will be conducted to remove floor tile and mastic from the third floor and all levels of all stairwells.
The abatement project will begin on Monday, Nov. 10 and continue through the end of December. Stairwell #2 will be closed for up to two weeks beginning on Monday. Once the Stairwell #2 work is completed, Stairwell #3 will be closed for up to two weeks. Stairwell #1 will be closed for up to two weeks after classes end in December. Stairwells will be posted as closed with arrows pointed to the nearest exit.
