Foundation Friday: Foundation helps get African American Historian to campus

 

The Foundation was happy to sponsor a talk by Oscar Williams, Ph.D., chair of Africana Studies at University at Albany, who presented Reflections on Themes from the ‘Created Equal: America’s Civil Rights Struggle’ Series on Tuesday, March 17 in the BTC Auditorium.

Dr. Williams is an expert on 19th and 20th century African American history and lead a dialogue that examined the long history of civil rights struggles in America considered in the context of current events.
