Raeshelle Frasier (Schenectady/Schenectady) earned First Team All-Region and First Team All-Conference honors on Monday afternoon.
She had a career year in her first season playing for the Vikings women’s basketball team. Frasier broke the single-season rebounding record of 353 in just 22 games, which was previously held by Elizabeth Ferenczy. She now holds the record with 396 rebounds.
Frasier recorded a double-double in 21 of the 24 games; including three games which she recorded 20+ points and 20+ rebounds. She finished the regular season leading the nation in rebounding, averaging 16.5 per game.
