FREE: Craftsman 10″ table saw

Happy New Year to everyone reading this! I hope you have been as busy as we have, winter always seems to get us into cleaning up and passing on stuff we no longer use.

Here’s our first give-away of the new year. It is free, but I (sadly) no longer have a pickup truck, so you would need to drive to our home to pick it up. (We live in Pittstown).

Craftsman 10″ table saw, probably from mid-1960s:

  • It is sitting in the barn today, but it was inside the house up until a week ago, so no mice-eating wires here.
  • It worked well last year — not quite enough power to rip 3/4″plywood, but it gets through 1/2″ well.
  • My dad made a custom plywood box for precision cutting against the fence for smaller stuff.
  • It is sitting on four legs that rest upon a 2 x 4 rectangle with casters so you can wheel it about your shop.
  • It needs some TLC to remove the dust and grease the action to raise/lower the sawblade.
  • I don’t have the manual, it was a gift years ago from another aging person’s cleanout. 🙂
  • It also includes a plastic “push stick” for keeping your fingers, a second drivebelt, and a second blade for ripping plywood.
