The Center for Energy Efficiency and Building Science (CEEBS) is pleased to invite the public to the Home Performance with Energy Star Residential Contractor Orientation Seminar.
This seminar is a “must-see” for contractors who wish to work under any of the NYSERDA programs and is beneficial for students in the Construction Technology programs who may wish to perform energy efficiency retrofit work.
The event, which will be held Thursday, Sept. 22 from 5 to 7 p.m. in the CEEBS classroom at 400 Jordan Road, Troy, will include valuable information about:
* The Green Jobs/Green NY program
* NYSERDA’s Home Performance with Energy STAR program
* Incentives and loans for small businesses and homeowners
* NYSERDA’s Energy STAR Homes initiatives
* BPI Certification (which certifications are required under the programs, training and incentives to become certified)
