Join historian Kathy Sheehan on Saturday, Aug. 10 at 9 a.m. for a tour to “North of the Ponds” in Troy’s Oakwood Cemetery.
A new program offering of the Friends of Oakwood, the tour will explore an area of the cemetery dubbed North of the Ponds and visit grave sites of women who had an impact on the region’s history, including suffragists, philanthropists and more.

Participants will assemble at the Gardner Earl Chapel flagpole at the Oakwood Avenue entrance to the cemetery and caravan to the tour site. (This tour originally was scheduled for July 20, but postponed due to extreme heat expected on that date.)
