The e-book version of part-time English instructor Sandra Hutchison’s debut novel, “The Awful Mess: A Love Story,” is sale priced at only 99 cents through Aug. 25 at Kindle, Nook, iTunes, and Kobo.
A sunnier, sexier contemporary take on “The Scarlet Letter,” the novel currently has over 100 five-star reviews at Amazon, and was selected as a highlighted title by Library Journal for its SELF-e program, which aims to curate the best indie e-books and supply them free to public libraries.
Of course, if you REALLY want to save money, you can borrow it from the Marvin Library or Upper Hudson Library System. Hutchison also is the author of “The Ribs and Thigh Bones of Desire.”
