Izzy Kokoszko, a Hudson Valley alumna and Hudsonian reporter and layout editor a few years back, lost both of her parents tragically on Monday, April 12.
Professor Rachel Bornn, advisor to The Hudsonian, shared that Izzy was an exceptional student and a dedicated staff member who spent hours each week on layout of the student newspaper. Izzy was also published in Threads. Her mother, Dorota Kokoszko, also graduated from the college’s Respiratory Care program. A Go Fund Me page was established in her memory and to support Izzy.
