Hello Hudson Valley students, faculty and staff! Many of you have seen me around campus recently inspecting fire extinguishers and I wanted to say that I’m impressed with YOU!
Out of more than 450 fire extinguishers, I found only one that was missing an inspection label, three instances where someone had put a garbage can or other object in front of the extinguisher, and only one instance in which an extinguisher had been used as a door stop.
Next month, let’s go for a grand total of ZERO violations. Please keep up the good work in maintaining a safe campus environment for all of us!
