A contemporary twist on The Scarlet Letter, it offers more sex and a happier ending. It was also one of five general fiction semifinalists for the 2014 Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award. It currently clocks in with a 4.2-star rating at Amazon.com, where it has over 190 reviews.

Her next book, The Ribs and Thigh Bones of Desire, is available for pre-order on Amazon, and releasing Dec. 9. It is set in the 1970’s in a small Western Massachusetts town where a 32-year-old physics professor and a 16-year-old babysitter must help each other grow up the hard way.
Both books are published by Sheer Hubris Press, a local small publisher that shares a suspicious amount of real estate with the author.
