Once the allocated spots are filled, the sign up process is closed. So sign up now to secure your spot via e-mail to Caroline MotherJudge (rootsvolunteer@hotmail.com). Please use subject line HVCC GUITAR FESTIVAL and provide:
— Your name
— Contact information (e-mail, phone and address)
— Name of act
— Number of performers and their instruments; any Vocals
(or if you would like to play with the House Band)
— Indicate if act is Spoken Word, Comedy or Dance (not to exceed 3 minutes in length)
You will be contacted by the host.
To secure any remaining spots, please be present in the Maureen Stapleton Theatre lobby at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 4. The Open Mic schedule will be posted in the lobby at 1:30. All Open Mic performers must be present at that time to confirm their participation. The show begins promptly at 2 p.m.
- Each act should prepare up to two pieces 3 minutes or fewer each (all acts may be limited to only one piece as time permits).
- Solo, duo and band ensembles welcome, but a performer may not perform in more than one act.
- Performers MUST be present in the Maureen Stapleton Theatre lobby from 1:30 to 2 p.m. when the order of performances will be posted.
- All performers shall remain present as the show schedule is subject to change.
Equipment provided by host:
drum kit
guitar amp
bass amp
four vocal mics
(Performers bringing keyboards will go through a DI send; please bring any needed cables and power supply. An acoustic guitar, electric guitar and bass guitar will be available for use if needed, but all musicians are urged to bring their own instruments.)
