The Health, Physical Education and Exercise Science Department hosted a group of Berlin High School students on Friday, April 13.
These students are in a Sports Medicine class offered at the high school by Mrs. Audrey Vanderhoef. Keith Thomas, the college’s athletic trainer, and Dr. Jacob Silvestri, a professor in our department, shared information about the Exercise Science program at the college, career options and professional opportunities in the field.
The visit culminated with the opportunity for the students to get some hands-on experience in the training room where they were shown basic ankle taping techniques. A good time was had by all!
