About the CDEOC: The Capital District Educational Opportunity Center (CDEOC), a division of Hudson Valley Community College, provides income-based education programs and support services for adult learners (ages 16+) in New York State who have traditionally faced multiple barriers to education. These short-term programs often lead to enhanced employment opportunities, access to further education, and increased personal growth. Eligible students can take advantage of educational opportunities that can lead directly into a job or provide a foundation for a two-year degree program at Hudson Valley Community College. The CDEOC is funded by the SUNY University Center for Academic and Workforce Development.
