Please consider a donation of blankets, coats and boots to the U.S. Committee for Refugees and Immigrants, Albany Field Office.
USCRI is a non-profit organization working to help refugees start new lives in the Capital Region since 2005.
Refugee families from Burma, Iraq, Bhutan, Sudan and Congo, and elsewhere around the world start new lives in the Capital Region each year. Many families are from parts of the world without snow or harsh winters.
USCRI collects donations of blankets, coats, boots, hats and gloves to ensure that our new neighbors will stay warm during their first winter in the U.S.
Donations of new and gently used goods can be delivered to the USCRI Albany office, located at 991 Broadway, Suite 223 in Albany — the building with Nipper on the top!) from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
On campus donations can be brought to Polly Karis in the Marvin Library or call ext. 7036 and I will come to your office for pick up.
Cash donations also are appreciated to support refugees with essential expenses. Please make checks payable to USCRI and mail to 991 Broadway, Suite 223, Albany, NY 12204. USCRI is a a 501(c)3 nonprofi and contributions are tax deductible.
