The hockey team (2-0-1) defeated Maine Club, 6-0, on Saturday evening.
William Huber (Arlington/Hopewell Junction) recorded a hat-trick, and Matt Wagner (LaSalle Institute/Clifton Park), Jordan Simpson (Oxford Academy/Anaheim, CA) and Matt deMoulpied (Shenendehowa/Clifton Park) each added a goal. Ricky Piper (Greenwich/Greenwich, CT) recorded the shutout in goal, stopping 19 shots in the win.
The Vikings host Mohawk Valley on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
