Did you know that you can submit student announcements in the Campus Chronicle interface?*
Every Monday at 9 a.m. students receive weekly e-mails highlighting announcements, news and events (similar to the daily e-mail sent to faculty and staff). So, make sure to get your announcements posted by Friday to be included in the weekly e-mail!
Student announcements also are available on the Students Web page and on the MyHudsonValley/Blackboard homepage and students are encouraged to check that daily to see the most recent posts.
How to Submit
- Click on the “Submit Article/Student Announcements” tab in the Campus Chronicle.
- Post your title and message
- Check the “Student Announcement” box in the Categories section
Keep in mind that you can select both a “Campus Announcement” category and a “Student Announcement” category to streamline your communication if the message is pertinent to both groups. You may also submit separate announcements if you’d like to deliver separate messages.

*NOTE: Only announcements related to college business and activities will be posted. Please do not post classified-type announcements or other general interest, unless they are supported by a college club, organization or office. Be sure to include contact information as students do not see the individual’s name who posted the message.
