The Hudson Valley Community College women’s (3-3) and men’s (2-3) soccer teams traveled to Syracuse to take on Onondaga Community College on Monday, Sept. 20. The women were defeated, 2-1, and the men fell, 2-0.
The Lady Vikings’ leading scorer, Sydney Jenkins (Columbia/ East Greenbush) scored the lone Hudson Valley goal on a feed from Meg Crowe (Ausable Valley/ Wilmington).
The men were held scoreless in their contest. Hudson Valley goalie Renardo Dixon (Central/ Bridgeport, CT), had eight saves on the evening.
The women will travel to Cortland to play Tompkins-Cortland Community College on Wednesday, Sept. 22 and the men will host Adirondack Community College on Wednesday.
