Twenty foreign journalists will be on campus Wednesday, Sept. 23 to meet with members of the Hudsonian staff from 10 a.m. to noon in BTC Meeting Room 1.
The visit is part of a national tour for the journalists organized by the United States Department of State, and the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs Office of International Visitors. The International Center of the Capital Region, based in Troy, is the local host for the group.
Countries represented are Algeria, Argentina, Armenia, Croatia, Ecuador, El Salvador, Italy, Nigeria, Paraguay, People’s Republic of China, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Taiwan, Tunisia and Turkey.
During three days in the Capital Region, the journalists have visited various media outlets, including the Times Union and WAMC Public Radio. The group next visits Detroit, Michigan.
