The Office of Human Resources (HR) is excited to announce Recruiterbox, a new software program that will streamline the recruitment, hiring and search process at Hudson Valley Community College.
Applicants will be able to apply with just a few clicks from our Employment Opportunities webpage.
We plan to go live with the new system on Monday, June 5, 2017.
What it will do for you as a search committee chair/member?
- Notifications of submitted applications will be delivered directly to your college email.
- You will see applications/resumes as they arrive in the system. You will no longer have to wait until the close date of a posting.
- Applications/resumes will be screened and only applicants who meet the minimum qualifications will appear in your email box for review.
- You will be able to produce reports with a touch of a button.
Training
Initial training sessions will be provided by the vendor through a Live WebEx Meeting on Tuesday, May 23 and Thursday, May 25 from 10 – 11:30 a.m. All department chairs, deans and directors will receive the invite for the WebEx training. If department heads are unable to attend, or would like to designate another faculty/staff member, they may forward the invite.
There also will be a written manual to support search chairs and committee members.
Of course, the HR team will be with you every step of the way until you become an expert. Our vendor is also available via email and online chat. Dina Farr and Sara Chamberlin in the Office of Human Resources are the experts in using the system.
