Three Hudson Valley Community College graduates, now students at the Rochester Institute of Technology, competed last weekend at the regional Associated Schools of Construction (ASC) Construction Management competition in New Jersey.
Doyle Guyette ’13, Erhard Marcus Uhmann ’13, and Phillip Sutter ’12, all graduates of the Civil Engineering Technology program, won first place honors with their teams! Doyle and Marcus were on the Heavy Civil Team and Phillip was on the Design Build team. Both teams placed first, bringing back to RIT checks for $2,000 for their programs. Scott Lawler, HVCC CIV 2006 and RIT 2008, represented LeChase Construction Services.
