HVCC represented at NSF Advanced Technological Education conference in Washington, DC

Dr. Jonathan Ashdown, executive dean of HVCC North, and Dr. Chris McNally, chair of the Applied Technologies department, represented Hudson Valley Community College at the National Science Foundation ATE Principal Investigators Conference in Washington, DC on Oct. 27.

Ashdown spoke on HVCC’s role in the National Talent Hub (NTH), an online analytics and networking platform that brings together advanced manufacturers, educational institutions, and job seekers to match industry’s talent needs with educational and training, program learning outcomes, and graduates’ knowledge, skills and abilities.

McNally reported on the goals and progress of HVCC’s NSF-ATE grant-funded Electric Vehicle to Grid Educational Initiative.
