Updated: HVCC’s ATEC campaign receives GlobalFoundries’ largest-ever donation

GlobalFoundries $1 million gift to the college’s $85 million campaign to build the Applied Technology Education Center (ATEC) on the main campus was recognized during a check presentation ceremony held Nov. 15 at TEC-SMART on the HVCC North campus.

A highlight of the event was remarks by Leo Saldana (pictured at right), a GlobalFoundries employee who was part of the GF’s apprenticeship program partnership with HVCC.

Hui Peng Koh is vice president and general manager of GF’s semiconductor manufacturing facility in Malta. Pradip Singh is GF’s senior vice president of Global Competitive Manufacturing and U.S. Fab Operations.
