The Fulbright Association recently appointed Cristi Marchetti, an English teacher at the QUESTAR III & HVCC STEM High School, as its campus coordinator for Hudson Valley Community College.
As campus coordinator, Marchetti will work to expand the Fulbright Association’s presence at HVCC by promoting Fulbright programs and opportunities to ensure students and faculty are aware of available resources and events. She also aims to strengthen ties with local Fulbright Association chapters to facilitate collaboration on institutional programming, and to increase association membership.
Marchetti, a recipient of a Fulbright Distinguished Award in Teaching (US-UK 2016-2017), is available to talk with students and faculty about Fulbright opportunities. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
The Fulbright Association is a private, nonprofit membership organization of alumni and friends of the Fulbright Program. Its mission is to engage, serve and support a diverse, inclusive and growing network dedicated to the Fulbright principle of cooperation through mutual understanding.
