idfive selected as college marketing partner

 

idfive, a full-service higher education marketing agency located in Baltimore, MD, is the college’s new partner for advertising, enrollment marketing and media buying.

The firm was hired following a search process that began in February with a request for proposals that yielded 34 written responses. Seven finalists were selected for on-campus presentations and interviews in late May.

Reasons for idfive’s selection include:

  • significant expertise in higher education marketing, and a demonstrated ability to use research and digital marketing to drive leads and focused follow up campaigns.
  • data-driven campaign planning and audience segmentation combined with strong creative execution across both new media and traditional channels.
  • clear strategies for campaign optimization to generate the most qualified leads and also the strongest return on marketing investment.
  • commission-free media buying, eliminating standard commission rates and reducing overall cost of ad buy.
  • strong overall agency team and fit with existing college talent; knowledge of Capital Region market through existing and former clients; and existing work with SUNY colleges.

Hudson Valley’s contracts with current partners, Idea Agency and Tipping Point Communications, expire at the end of this fiscal year. Planning meetings with idfive begin on Monday, June 26.
