Spring 2021 and Summer 2021 Degree/Certificate Application Deadlines
Important Note: A student planning to complete program requirements in Spring or Summer 2021 must submit a completed degree/certificate application to the Registrar’s Office no later than the close of business on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 in order to be included in May 2021 Commencement-related publications.
This is a reminder that the degree/certificate application deadlines for Spring 2021 and Summer 2021 graduation are as follows:
Spring 2021 — Monday, May 3, 2021
**Summer 2021 — Monday, Aug. 2, 2021
- If a student plans on graduating either in May or August, a completed degree/certificate application must be submitted to the Registrar’s Office by the appropriate deadline as noted above.
- Please note that a completed degree/certificate application requires a department chairperson/advisor signature.
- Applications received after the noted date will be considered for graduation for the following semester (i.e., a spring application received on May 4 will be considered a Summer 2021 application and a summer application received on August 3 will be considered a Fall 2021 application).
- **Important Note: Summer 2021 graduates are invited to the May Commencement ceremony. This will be the only commencement ceremony that you can attend. If you wish to participate and have your name appear in the Commencement program, you must have a completed degree/certificate application submitted by the April 7 deadline.

- This Degree/Certificate Application Deadline reminder has been posted to the Student Announcement Board, the digital monitors and all students have been sent a reminder email to their HVCC email account.
