Instant Admit Week Concludes Today

Hudson Valley Community College will offer an Instant Admission Week, August 1-5, where prospective students can meet with admissions and financial aid counselors and be admitted to the college for the Fall 2011 term.

Instant Admission Week will run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, Aug. 1 through Friday, Aug. 5 at the college-s Admissions Office on the second floor of the Guenther Enrollment Services Center.

As with the college’s Instant Admission Days, the college will waive its $30 application fee for those who apply during Instant Admission Week.

Interested students should bring their academic records from high school and any transcripts from previous higher education. Students wishing to begin the financial aid process should bring their most recent tax returns.

“Throughout the year, we offer several Instant Admission Days, but with the demand we are seeing among students, we felt it would be beneficial to create an entire week of Instant Admission where prospective students can complete the entire task of applying for college,” said Director of Admissions Mary Claire Bauer.
