Dianne Zielinski is teaching students at Stillwater High School this semester thanks to videoconferencing. She worked with Professor Bob Matthews to create a presentation on collecting journal articles utilizing the Hudson Valley Community College Library web site. Students on campus were able to take advantage of the Flexible Learning Space computer lab located in the Marvin Library.
Instructional Technologies staff members Eric Kiel and Roger Pinke utilized desktop videoconferencing software to connect to Stillwater’s videoconference classroom. Both college and the high school site were able to see, hear and participate during the presentation.
Bob Matthews was able to see Stillwater’s computer screen, allowing him to assist in their navigation through journal articles.
