Let us introduce you to the important aspects of Autodesk Inventor®. Learn how to produce professional-grade 3D mechanical design, documentation and product simulation tools.
Some of the critical topics covered include:
— Background basics, including parametric modeling, files and file management
— Software interface, its toolbars, file types support, modeling navigation, saving and filing
— Drawing functions such as sketches and specific features, model dimensioning, Boolean commands, basic solids from extrusion & revolution, sweeping & blending (lofting)
— Drawing Aids, including patterns, relations and reference geometry
— Assemblies, including mating components, inserting parts and exploded assemblies

Prerequisites: Minimum 10th grade reading and math skill levels; computer skills, including navigating the Windows operating system
