J.J. Williams, chair of the Accounting, Entrepreneurship and Marketing department, will be a judge at Kauffman’s Startup Weekend, Nov. 1 – 3 at Skidmore College.
The event will draw participants from Boston to New York City to Buffalo, who pitch their new business ideas to a panel of judges with the aim of being chosen to receive critical feedback and mentored as they develop their business plan.
Startup Weekends are sponsored in more than 200 cities around the world each year by the non-profit Kauffman Foundation, headquartered in Kansas City, Missouri.
