Jo-Anne McArthur: We Animals presentation on Thursday, Oct. 5

Jo-Anne McArthur, award-winning photographer and founder of We Animals, will speak and sign copies of her books on Thursday, Oct. 5 at 7 p.m. in the Bulmer Telecommunications Center Auditorium.

We Animals, an ongoing project since 1998, photographs animals in the human environment to build awareness of how animals are mistreated in our daily lives. Today, We Animals is an internationally-celebrated photograph archive, and more than 100 animal organizations worldwide have benefited from the project’s work and continue to collaborate with McArthur on stories, investigations, campaigns and humane education.

Please read more about the program and plan to attend!

The fall 2017 keynote event, presented by the Cultural Affairs Program with co-sponsorship by the Animal Outreach Club, is open free to the public and marks Ms. McArthur’s first visit to the Capital Region.
