The Center for Careers and Employment announces the Community’s Job Fair for students and alumni of Hudson Valley and residents of the Capital Region, taking place on Tuesday, March 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the McDonough Sports Complex. Employers from various locations in and around the Capital Region are expected to participate to fill job openings.
During Career Week, March 5 to 12, the Center for Careers and Employment will sponsor a series of resume writing and job fair preparation workshops for students. A fashion show is scheduled for Thursday, March 8 at which models will demonstrate what is and what is not considered appropriate interview, job fair and career attire. All events take place in the Siek Campus Center.
The Center for Careers and Employment continues to seek employers for the job fair. The registration deadline is Friday, Feb. 24. Anyone who knows of a business that might be interested is asked to direct a representative to the CCE Web site, www.hvcc.edu, or call (518) 629-7326.
Students planning to attend Career Week and the Community’s Job Fair also should call the CCE or visit the Web site for more information.
