The Center for Careers & Transfer (CCT) welcomes students and alumni to join virtual mini-info sessions (20 minutes each) Thursday, Nov. 5 as part of Fall 2020 Employment Days. And please stay tuned to our social media (Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter where we’ll be sharing job opportunities).
- 10 a.m. — Internships — learn the value of internships and where to find those opportunities; sometimes you have to make your own!
- noon — Answering Tricky Interview Questions — learn what employers are really trying to find out and how to answer these tough questions.
- 2 p.m. — Job Search Strategies — learn how and where to look for open positions. Job search sites are great, but don’t forget about the hidden job market!
- 4 p.m. — Using the HVCC online job bank (Symplicity) — learn how to access and use the HVCC online job bank. Jobs are posted by local employers almost daily.
