Associate Director of Multimedia and Video Services John Yost was the recipient of the Purchase Award at the most recent Artists of the Mohawk Hudson Regional exhibition. The show has an open call for artists to submit their work for the biennial show, and the award means Yost’s work will be in the permanent collection at the Glens Falls based Hyde Collection, which hosted the show.

Yost has been employed at the college for eight months and is heading up a new Multimedia and Video Services unit, which was created after restructuring Viking Video Technologies and Instructional Technology Services.
The department oversees a wide variety of video, photography and multimedia needs for college offices and departments. It also works in partnership with faculty, supports academic endeavors, collaborates with Communications and Marketing and assists with numerous college events.
